About the event
Show Up is a social volunteering events company. We set up FUN events where you can volunteer and party at one of your favorite local bars, breweries... or in this case, at Summit Seltzer!
For this event, we are featuring Charlotte's chapter of The Shoebox Project. The Shoebox Project is a nationwide official 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps women who are impacted by homelessness. For the holidays, they focus on not only providing essential items, but also providing gifts that women would enjoy! It is their goal to make sure each woman feels seen, feels dignity, and knows there is a community of kindness supporting her.
THE EVENT: We are preparing 250+ gift boxes! Show Up participants will inspect gift donations (already provided) to ensure nothing is used, expired, etc. Next, you will curate and assemble the gifts into boxes for local women in need. Then, wrap it up and make…
